Book 11: The Cosmos of The Soul: A Spiritual Biography
The writing of a spiritual biography allows an individual to journal their purpose, their strength, their significant turning points in life; in short, their journey of awakening. Michele Doucette has herein taken the time to document the truth of her heart. The life story of every individual is unique; as such, each deserves to be treasured, to be acknowledged, to be remembered. In reflecting on her own spiritual journey, this author hopes to be able to inspire others to draw closer to the divine potential that already exists within themselves.
In the words of author Susan Wittig Albert … The spiritual path represents the Process of Becoming whereby the soul remembers itself and the soul discovers its true identity as spirit.
Truly, A Must Read

To find one’s true path is a journey through inevitable change, and it is through these iterations of ourselves that we eventually arrive at that oneness; that perfect connection to our true self, that perfect image of our true selves. Michele Doucette’s The Cosmos of the Soul: A Spiritual Biography chronicles such a journey.
Generally acknowledging herself as, always a researcher, always a seeker, Michele, by example of her own journey, has become the teacher. It is true that by research and study we educate ourselves and increase our knowledge, but the application of that knowledge, true learning from those experiences, is something best taught by example. The Cosmos of the Soul: A Spiritual Biography provides such an example.
Michele effectively teaches us to look at the events of our lives and accept how these events, both good and bad, reveals glimpses of our reality. One such example was how precious, little Jessica helped reveal Michele’s role as a teacher of the highest calling. As this wonderful journey develops, we learn how guilt and obligation to tradition can be stumbling stones to our spiritual advancement, and how, by Michele’s example, we can overcome these, or at least make them a chosen part of our reality.
If the readers will be true to themselves, they will be able to draw many parallels between their own journey and that of this author. Many times, we just need to know that someone else has been where we are now. It becomes in understanding that through perseverance, dedication, and above all, being true to ourselves, we are able to become the creators of our own reality, for this is when we are finally able to experience the bliss of The Cosmos of the Soul.

A Roadmap To Discovery
December 2011
Michele Doucette’s biography surprised me, because it almost reflects my own spiritual awakening.
Michele begins with the details of her birth, her childhood and her feeling that she didn’t belong. She was always more comfortable with books and nature than with people. This is a feeling I can definitely identify with. In continuing to describe her spiritual journey she mentions several well respected authors with which I am very familiar, James Twyman, Nick Bunick, Shakti Gawain and Gregg Braden just to mention a few. Through the knowledge and guidance of these spiritual leaders, Michele began her journey to enlightenment. Fascinated with, and drawn to crystals, she uses them in her therapies as a channeler of Reiki energies.
Another book and author, Going Deeper: How To Make Sense of Your Life When Life Makes No Sense by Jean Claude Koven had a deep impact on her life. I reviewed this book several years ago, and must agree with Michele that it is one of the best books I have ever read.
While it is beginning to sound like Michele’s biography is just one big book review of the spiritual masters, each of these books bring us the knowledge we need to reach our own potential. Through books such as these, we can learn to let go of past beliefs and alienation and find the path to Oneness that we all seek.
When the author reaches the end of her story she reminds us of three very important things …[1] Your thoughts are energy, attracting into your life everything that vibrates in alignment with your thoughts, [2] Think about what you want, and you attract that into your life, [3] Think about what you do not want, and you will attract that, too … simple, easy and true! In an effort to tell her own story, she provides readers with a roadmap to their own discovery.
Well done, Michele!
